Enrollment Rules and Procedures

First Grade Enrollment

Students are enrolled in the first grade starting from the age defined by Georgian legislation.

Mandatory Orientation

The school administration is obliged to introduce the school's Internal Regulations to the student and their parent/guardian upon enrollment.

Mobility & Skills Assessment

Following the enrollment of a student through mobility, the school is authorized to conduct an interview or examination to determine the compatibility of the student's knowledge and skills with the National Curriculum levels. This helps identify the need for individual support in specific subjects.

Transfer to Parallel Class

Permitted based on a parent's application, subject to approval by the Founder/Director in coordination with the administration.

Enrollment Refusal

Enrollment may be refused if the number of applications exceeds the number of available places in the school.

Required Documents for Enrollment

To enroll a student, the parent/legal representative must submit the following documents:

Application addressed to the School Director
Two photographs of the student (3x4 format)
Copy of the birth certificate
Copies of the parents' identity cards
Copy of student's residence document (for foreign citizens, if applicable)
Copy of parent's residence document (for foreign citizens, if applicable)
Document confirming authority of legal representative (if applicable)

Student Mobility Rules

The following documentation is required for transfer to LLC Georgian-German School Skhivi:

Application addressed to the School Director
Student's personal file from the previous institution
Current academic assessment / grades
Certificate regarding missed hours per subject
Copy of the decree of discharge from the previous institution
For SEN students: Multidisciplinary Team's conclusion & Individual Education Plan (IEP)
Residence documents for child and parent (for foreign citizens)
Document confirming authority of the legal representative (if applicable)
Conclusion on the recognition of education received abroad (if necessary) and resulting IEP
Pre-Enrollment Assessment

Prior to enrollment via mobility, the school may conduct interviews or testing to evaluate the student's academic level relative to the National Curriculum to determine if individual catch-up work is required.

Procedure for Transferring to Another School

Submit Application

The parent/legal representative must submit an application requesting discharge, specifying the name of the receiving school.

Database Removal

Upon receiving an electronic request via eschool-emis, the school removes the student from the database.

Within 2 Working Days

File Transfer

The student's physical personal file is officially sent to the receiving school via mail.
