There are school chapters of subjects in the school that unite all teachers of the subject group. Functions of the chairs are:

Coordination of teaching subject subject / subjects;

Sharing experiences of each other, defining preconditions of success and seeking ways to solve problems;

Selecting textbooks;

Coordinated work with teachers of other subject groups (eg agreement on common topics in history and Georgian, general thinking on excursions, etc.);

To set appropriate roads for professional development;

Elaboration of appropriate recommendations with supporting materials and books needed for the library;

Develop recommendations on new methodologies and approaches.

 

                   Chairperson’s chair functions are:

 Organizing regular meetings (preparation of the agenda, where necessary, protocols and documents);

Delivering decisions made by the chairmanship of the school management bodies (eg on choosing books);

Organize professional development activities (trainings, conferences, etc.).

The chair draws at least twice in the semester. The chair must be assembled before the beginning of the academic year.
